Ta-daaaaaah!!! And my 1st ever wearable crochet project is done! 🎆
I wanted it to be a bit longer at the back, but I was scared I wouldn’t have enough cotton. (I have to ride a ferry and buy them in Singapore ya know!) 🙂
I was ambivalent about the length of the sleeves. When I fitted the shrug before I sewed it up, I felt it would look nicer with sleeves that came below the elbow. Now however, I wonder if they could’ve been shorter 😀
But overall, I’m pretty pleased with the outcome ❤
And now onto my next crochet adventure!!! 😀
Oh and P.S., this makes 2 July goals down and, let’s see … 1 more to go? Stay tuned! 😉
That’s gorgeous, well done! X

Absolutely charming! I don”t know if I’d change the length – I love the flow across the edge of the sleeves and back. Beautifully done.

Totally awesome, I love it. I think the sleeves are a perfect length; not too long to be in the way and catch but not too short that could sit higher with a short sleeved dress….PERFECT 😊

My crocheting is nothing compared to that awesome shawl you created. But I am plugging away at it. I hope to get a few blog posts in this week so you can see what I am working on 🙂

I like it, don’t think it should have been longer. And the sleeves look good as well. Nice job!

Woooooooooow Pardje, congratulations 🙂 !!! Well done!!! It looks really pretty and suits you well ❤ I like the arm length like that. You could still do another one with shorter sleeves 😉 You can be really proud of what you've done, really, it looks amazing ❤ And then the greatest feeling when someone asks you – wow, where did you get it from? And you can proudly reply with "I made it myself" 😉 Enjoy ❤

Nooooww, am I making you think about those arm warmers and scarves from 8 years ago? A little, at least? I hope so! 😉

I’m a little late to the party, but I’d love to see a link to the pattern for the granny squares. This is beautiful work, and I’d like to take a stab at making one myself.

Of course, here you go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctLxYnR7w3c
I did modify the last row a bit to make it look like this https://ofsnailmailbooksandvanities.wordpress.com/2015/06/23/experimenting-with-lace-granny-squares/
Have fun, and I hope you share the finished product 😀
