I haven’t found much time to do crochet lately and I really do miss it. My red bolero project has been put on hold because I ran out of yarn – such a party pooper whenever that happens! 😥
But right now I am (slowly) working on something that uses wonderfully soft bamboo cotton yarn ❤ And it’s made up of square motifs I’ve taken to calling ‘black widow’ 🙂
It’s a pattern I found in a Russian/Ukranian magazine that I haven’t been able to find on the internet again Fortunately, I took a picture of it and, here it is in case you’re interested:
I hope I finish the project before I run out of yarn! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
That’s really pretty!

It is! 🙂 And the cotton yarn surely makes the stitches pop. Thanks so much for dropping by 🙂

That crochet looks lovely. I would never be able to figure it out from the diagram. My head hurts just looking at it.

LOL! It does take learning what stitch each symbol represents. Thanks, Ginny ❤

I have the same problems with diagrams!

That’s a lovely square. I’m not a crocheter, I knit, but I never could get the hang of crochet no matter how many times my hubbys grandmother tried to show me. Always too tight, or too loose, or “Wait, how did you even DO that? Pull it out…”

LOL! It takes some getting used to 🙂 I’d like to knit sometime in the future too. I did some when I was around 12, I think. Just basics, nothing remarkable. Right now though, I’d like to master crochet first. Thanks a lot for commenting ❤

I think you’ll have it down pat in no time 🙂 Happy stitching! (or is it hooking?) 😀
