WIP It Good! + 3 Minute Headbands

crochet WIPs March 2016

~~~ I will not purchase additional yarn until I finish all my WIP’s. Full stop! ~~~
There, I said it and you are now the (unwilling?) witness to this declaration XD
I can’t be the only one to lack stick-to-it-till-done powers when it comes to crafting/crocheting, am I? 🙄 Clockwise from top: my aqua-metallic infinity cowl, my 3-minute headbands (done!), a bag-purse thingy, and a hat.
I took the above picture over the weekend and I’ve made good progress since then.  I think I’ll be done with all of these before next Wednesday rolls around – I want to because I refuse to buy any more yarn or start any new project until these are finished XD
Meanwhile, I was playing with some leftover crochet cotton and my fingers (unbeknownst to my brain!) came up with these very easy-simple headbands.
I combined 3 random colors for each and crocheted (ch 3, *1dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 3) until I had the desired length, then fastened off. I left enough thread at the back for the ties.
These 3-minute headbands can be worn in twos or threes (or more), and in whatever color combinations. Just one also looks great on its own. I find it an attractive way to tuck stray hair strands away whenever I have my hair up in a bun. Cute, eh? 😉
Okay I’ll be off to finish the remaining projects now 🙂 Hook happy!
P.S. Belated International Women’s Day greetings to all you fierce, feisty females out there!  ❤️‍💋‍ ❤️‍💋‍
    1. Hahaha! Yes, I need luck because I’m already bookmarking some nice yarns I saw online. Uh-oh! XD Yes, finishing WIPs feels really good 🙂
  1. That first statement is a bold one! I always say that but end up somehow during breaks between uni classes at a yarn shop… looking at gorgeous yarn… placing them on the counter… and then my mind blacks out until I’m at home with skeins of yarn that I don’t need 😛
