Feel-Good Fridays

What’s Your Feel-Good Song At The Moment?

TGIF y’all! And Happy April Fool’s Day! 😀 Did you do any pranking? Or were you the one pranked?

Listen, I have a question for you and I want your answers in the comments section. K?

But first, the introduction:

If previous posts are enough indication you all probably know by now early mornings are my absolute favorite part of the day. We (you and I) have exchanged our early-morning routines in this post and learned a bit about each other – always such a treat 😀

We’ll I’ve recently upped the ante in that department so to speak. I’m now using my feel-good song as my alarm. I used to use this zen-y, slow-rise melody which honestly was a very good choice but, every once in a while you just have to shake things up, no?

So that got me curious about what other people’s feel-good songs are and of course I have to ask the question on my blog 🙂

I shall start the ball rolling with my own happy-ness anthem which izzzz:

Now look me in the eye and tell me if that’s not a great song to begin the day with XD Dancing absolutely recommended 😀

Okay so it’s now YOUR turn – what’s your feel-good song at the moment? You don’t have to be like me and use it as your morning alarm, just that it makes you smile or places you in a happy/inspired/motivated/peaceful space.

You can give me just one or an entire list. Run with it! I shall be waiting for your answers 🙂 Seriously, I will.

Have a wonderful weekend beautiful people ❤

  1. I have to say I have a few, but my two morning fav’s at the moment are:
    Meghan Trainor – Walkashame
Andy Grammer – Honey I’m Good… actually both of their albums I love playing on my walk into work in the morning to get me in a positive mood for the day!

    1. Oh I love “Honey I’m Good”! 🙂 That’s another one to dance to indeed. Haven’t heard Walkashame yet but I looked it up and had to laugh at the lyrics 😀 Good one!

Thanks so much for sharing ❤

  2. I’m going old school: Carole King “Tapestry” album (the whole thing – I couldn’t pick just one song!) and Rapper’s Delight by the Sugarhill Gang (I used to own this on vinyl and I know all the words, which I laboriously wrote out on a yellow legal pad a million years ago and remember to this day.)

      1. Yay! I’m glad you like them. She’s an amazing song writer (she wrote Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” song!). I also enjoyed her autobiography published not too long ago. She is a land activist as well, which made my heart happy. 🙂

  3. Greetings lady!

Long time! My feel-good song at the moment is Beyonce’s “Blue.” Simply, I love that song and even danced to it on my YouTube channel, Claudia’sUniverse. If you have time, please check it out. Tell me how I performed! 😀

    Wishing you every blessing,

And yes, I love the song, “Happy”!!!!

  4. Good choice of feel good song! Definitely one of those songs when it comes on the radio I turn it up and dance around. I’ve got so many that now I’m trying to think…..its about memories for me too. My aquafit class music some weeks just constantly makes me smile as it’s a trip down memory lane. Now that we found love by heavy d makes me think of my best friend, you and me by wannadies reminds me of before I started going out with Paul who is now my hubby, one of my favourite songs is everlong by foo fighters. Ooh there’s loads!

  5. When I was just out of high school I worked at a local burger joint and always had the jukebox to myself first thing each morning. My song of choice was always Bob Seger’s “Sunspot Baby”. It was while I was dating real loser and I imagined myself running up his bills and dumping him. (ha) I did dump him but he didn’t have any credit cards or even a job for that matter. I did leave him without a ride home though 🙂

    1. LOL! What a story XD And what a theme song – “She left me here stranded like a dog out in the yard, Charged up a fortune on my credit card” XD Good on you!

Thanks so much for sharing your song and the story behind it 🙂 ❤

  6. I’m partial to 80s pop classics, like Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves and Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. Also, Footloose by Kenny Loggins. Anything I can sing and bop along to makes me happy 🙂

  7. Yep, Pharrell Williams ‘Happy’ has got me through some tough times on a regular occassion. I also tend to have Spandau Ballet ‘gold’ running through my head when in nerve-racking situations (like interviews) – makes me feel like I can do anything

Oh and I just love Daydream Beliver by the Monkees, just makes me smile 🙂

What a lovely post to comment on – going to go through and listen to everyone’s happy songs now, what a boost 🙂
