Come now will ya?! I’m forming a Conga line or .. if cabaret is more your style we can do that too, no sweat! XD XD Just click on the icon above and it will take you directly to Karla’s doorstep … (I’ve alwaysΒ called her Karla but I’m not really sure!) XD XD
Oh but first, lemme show you my entry to My Messy World’s Summer Blogger BBQ party. One of the options for participating is to share a DIY decoration that brings (or in my case, brought) summer into my home.
And so, here it is! π
This simple decoration is made up of 4 different colored paper lanterns strewn across one wall of our bedroom (old house, prior to moving to Indonesia) embellished with little twinkling electric lights. I made it with my daughter and, to this day, we still miss it. It made us look forward to going to bed! π
There once was a time not too long ago when I had crystal clear vision and even levels of relatively high energy throughout the day.Β Absolutely no trouble sleeping, and no trouble waking up. This is me on no coffee.
But you see, my mornings are never complete without a cuppa, so this state of ‘perfection’ is really not sustainable for extended periods of time.Β Believe me, I’ve tried.
However my sleeping pattern has been really wacky as of late and along with that comes a fuzzy brain and a roller coaster of cravings + energy highs/lows throughout the day. This is me on coffee. Even if it’s just one cup a day π₯
So I’m switching to plain old Lipton tea this week until I get my zen back.Β (Decaf just makes me sad).
Here’s an infographic I found about the pros and cons of coffee.Β The pros are quite amazing as you can see but I’m taking those with a grain of salt.Β I’ve read before that studies like these are funded by coffee makers as a marketing strategy.
What do you think? Are you team coffee?
